a "Quick Start" button which automatically creates a course
from scratch in less than 10 minutes, complete with graphics, backgrounds,
buttons, navigation and everything required to get the first time user
up and running instantly.
Atlantic Link Managing Director, Mike Alcock explains the
significance of the new developments, "Listening to our customers,
we were aware that while our products were second to none for authoring
capability, there was a growing demand for LCMS functionality within our
product suite. We are focused exclusively on building the best rapid e-learning
authoring tools available, so our objective with this new release has
been to ensure that we can provide LCMS functionality as part of our authoring
capability."
The new release also adds numerous minor enhancements, of
which Active Directory integration is particularly convenient. This allows
organisations to integrate Atlantic Link systems into their corporate
networks without the need for mass import of user names, passwords or
separate login IDs for e-learning.
